 Special Services

November 2025 marked the 150th anniversary of the Church of England and Diocese of London’s plan for the new parish of The Holy Innocents, Hammersmith. The conveyance of land at Paddenswick Green by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners occurred then and by 1876 the Dalling Road Mission church (a temporary structure) was being built and an assistant curate had been appointed to plant and pastor a new community of faith. An early assistant curate and patron, the Revd M. J. Stone-Wigg, would go on to be the first Anglican bishop of Papua New Guinea!

Sunday, July 12, 2026 at 10.10am– A Special Celebration of our Mission: Past, Present and Future at the Parish Eucharist

This Sunday is also a special service in the life of the church. We have our Founders Day Service to celebrate 125 years since the church building was completed and opened. Afterwards everyone is warmly invited to stay for a glass of prosecco and some food – nothing formal, just a relaxed chance to catch up and celebrate together (and potentially talk England’s world cup fortunes as they are playing Saturday night!)
Everyone is very welcome – children very much included – and there’s no need to RSVP.
We hope you can join us.
